About Millie
Millie Jackson
My eclectic approach to wellness is a product of diverse training and over three decades of hands-on experience as a perceptive and intuitive Massage Therapist and Wellness Coach. I have spent much of my life developing empathic gifts and discerning the nuances of how a body sends messages, both literal and metaphoric. I have a deep reverence and inquisitive wonder for the human body and love giving a voice to its messages. You could say I am a messenger for the messenger.
Intrigued by the mind/body connection, I followed a premedical curriculum while getting a BA in Psychology from Indiana University, Bloomington (1992). I draw heavily upon my journey of improving my own health, shedding excess pounds, rehabbing injuries and constantly adapting to ever-changing needs and circumstances. By learning to be an efficiency expert with our bodies’ resources, I have helped to streamline many wellness routines.
In 2016, I completed a one year certification program to become an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. I enjoy exploring nutrition along with the many other facets of wellness that are integral to a well-rounded, healthy life-style. I am particularly adept at identifying areas where simple, practical and sustainable habits can be easily weaved into existing routines. I help develop strategies to make monumental shifts into a healthier existence by incorporating simple steps, big or small, and to continue to create and build on a solid foundation of wellness.
With an emphasis on client empowerment and education, I guide and inspire others to become motivated and directed by their body’s inherent intelligence and wisdom. Enthusiasm, deep insight, desire to be of service and love for what I do are evident in my offerings.
